Workers Comp

Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC will verify your Worker’s Compensation records for the past ten years. No action will be taking against any employee where an injury is verified.

Work-Share Program

Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC participates in the Colorado Work-Share Program. The Work-Share Program provides an alternative to laying off your employees during the off season. The program allows employees to keep working, but with fewer hours. While they are working fewer hours, unemployment pays them part of their regular unemployment benefits.

Drug Testing

All candidates are required to submit a urine sample for chemical or other analysis before beginning work for Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC.  The purpose of this analysis is to determine or rule out the presence of non-prescribed or prohibited controlled substances or alcohol.  In applying for employment with Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC, you hereby freely and voluntarily consent to this request for a urine specimen and to participation in the testing program, and you hereby authorize the release of these test results to Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC.

Backgrounds

In connection with your application for employment, Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC may obtain a consumer report on you as part of our process of considering you for employment. These reports may include public record information such as your driving record, criminal history, social security verification and address history. Private information such as credit history may also be obtained.  The Fair Credit Reporting Act gives you specific rights in dealing with consumer reporting agencies. You will be given a summary of these rights.

Authorization to Work in the United States

Federal law prohibits the employment of unauthorized workers, and Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC is committed to maintaining a lawful workforce.  If you are hired, we are required by federal law to verify your identity and authorization to work in the United States by completing a Form I-9, even if you are a United States citizen.  The last page of the Form I-9 contains a list of acceptable documents to establish your identity and U.S. work authorization.  Regardless of your citizenship, national origin, or immigration status, you may provide any of the acceptable combinations of documents specified on this list (one List A document or a combination of one List B document and one List C document). 

If you are offered a position with Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC, you may complete Section 1 of the Form I-9 as soon as you accept the offer of employment.  At the latest, you must complete Section 1 by your first day of employment.  You must also produce the document(s) to allow us to verify your identity and employment authorization within three business days of your first day of employment.  Additional information on the Form I-9 can be found at http://www.uscis.gov/i-9.

Employment at Will…

Employment at Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC “at-will,” meaning it is for an indefinite and unspecified duration.  If you are hired, you understand and agree that you may leave your employment at any time and Centennial Concrete & Waterproofing, LLC may terminate your employment and compensation at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, for any reason not prohibited by law.  By signing below, you acknowledge your understanding and agreement that your at-will employment status cannot be changed by any oral or written statement, company handbook, policy, or benefit plan and that only the president or vice president of the company has any authority to enter into any contract for employment for any specified period of time or to make any agreement that contradicts the above.
